# Health check

`GET https://api.paxalabs.com/health`

GET /health is the liveness probe: process status plus which products and models the server can serve right now. Public and never rate limited.

Answers even when the database or Redis is down. A product listed false answers [503 provider_unavailable](https://paxalabs.com/docs/errors#provider_unavailable) on its endpoints without charging.

## Response

- `status` ("ok", required)
- `products` (object, required): Per-product availability.
  - `products.tts` (boolean, required): Speech synthesis is being served right now, by at least one model.
  - `products.voice_design` (boolean, required): Voice design (POST /v1/voices/design) is being served right now.
  - `products.translation` (boolean, required): Translation is being served right now.
  - `products.ocr` (boolean, required): Document reading is being served right now.
  - `products.extraction` (boolean, required): Document Extraction is being served right now.
  - `products.stt` (boolean, required): Transcription is being served right now.
- `models` (object, required): Per-model availability, keyed by model id; provider_unavailable errors point here.
