WellSaid
No published rate

WellSaid publishes no API rate. Its plans price Studio download minutes, and API plans are built with its team. Every rate is per one million characters of English text, counted in UTF-16 code units as ours is, with per-minute, per-token, per-byte, and per-Han-character rates converted to that unit.

When WellSaid is the better choice

If your team produces voiceover in a studio editor, WellSaid's plans include caption files, team workspaces, and Adobe Express and Premiere Pro integrations. Its Enterprise plan adds other languages, translation of English clips, and SSO. Their API FAQ says their team helps deploy a custom voice to the API. Choose us when your product speaks Thai or Mandarin and needs a published API rate.

Questions

Does WellSaid have Thai voices?

Their Global Voices page lists none. It groups voices by language from Arabic to Turkish, and their pricing page keeps languages other than English for Enterprise.

How do we get WellSaid API access?

Their account guide issues a trial key that lasts 14 days and covers 50 API calls. A paid API plan is built with their team, and their pricing page lists no API rate.

Do you offer voice cloning?

No. Catalog voices are published with stable ids, and a voice of your own is one you design from a written description in the console. WellSaid deploys a custom voice to its API with its team's help.

Do you publish quality or latency comparisons?

No. We publish no quality, accuracy, or latency figures of our own, for our model or anyone else's. Generate the same script on both and listen.
